7th Annual Design on the Delaware Conference & Trade Show
A collaborative conference examining the issues and opportunities of the built environment for design and building professionals in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Program Highlights

  • A tour of the National Museum of American Jewish History led by James Polshek, FAIA and the design team from Polshek Partnership Architects.
  • The design and construction team of the Please Touch Museum will present a program and conduct a tour of the Museum's new home at Memorial Hall in Fairmont Park.
  • Philadelphia Zoning Code Commissioners and Alan Greenberger, AIA, Executive Director of the City's Planning Commission, will conduct a participatory session on Philadelphia's new zoning code.
  • "May it Please the Court," a hypothetical multi-million dollar trial where expert witnesses for the contractor and architect are cross-examined by the attorney for the owner.
  • A full-day design charrette on interim use of industrial sites.
  • Plus, programs on BIM, Integrated Project Delivery, contract documents, LED lighting, biomimicry, stormwater, LEED for schools, affordable housing, transit, waterfront development, regional issues and more.
