Architecture in Education home page

Welcome to Architecture in Education

houseArchitecture in Education brings architects, landscape architects and other design professionals into classrooms to help young people understand what it takes to make buildings and communities work for the people who live in them.

Teachers: Have fun with hands-on activities and special tours, learn useful lesson plan ideas and earn graduate credits all at the same time, with the AIE Summer Institute for Educators. The five-day course is accredited.

New! Take a peek at classroom work by McClure School third graders during the Fall 1999 semester!

Visit our new section, Structure in Architecture. Learn about domes, cantilevers and beams, and give us feedback.
