Plan, Section & Elevation

You can explain these terms by using two bell peppers. The outer walls are like the outer walls of a house. The inner walls like those inside of a house separating rooms.

	Plan of a Bell Pepper Cut one pepper in half horizontally, so you can see the plan of the pepper. Dip the cut pepper into paint and make a print demonstrating a plan of the pepper.
	Elevation of a Bell Pepper Cut the other pepper in half vertically and you can remove the face or elevation of the pepper...
	Section of a Bell Pepper ...to look inside at a section of this pepper.
