Bridges and Structure

At the Daisy Field Quarry

Our class went two times to the Daisy Field Quarry. A quarry is a place where certain rocks are found. For the covering of the bridge we collected and chose thin, flat rociks also known as Wissahickon Schist. We needed rocks from the quarry for the face of our model of the Henry Ave. Bridge. We also had time to play at Daisy Field and had fun.
